Project Empower: Breezi to Train Underprivileged Children
KUALA LUMPUR, April 27, 2017 -- Breezi Speaking is proud to announce the start of Project Empower with the aim to provide soft skills training to underprivileged children registered with IDEAS Academy. This marks Breezi's first non-profit involvement in Malaysia.
IDEAS Academy is a secondary-level learning center for underprivileged youth in Malaysia. It is a Malaysian-Dutch joint venture between the Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS), a Malaysian not-for-profit think tank and the Stichting Young Refugee Cause (YRC). IDEAS Academy, started in September 2014, is endorsed by the Education Department of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Malaysia and now serves over 100 students with a growing waiting list.

The 8-week programme is set to begin from May 18th and go on for 8 weeks. The focal point of the trainings will be on Public Speaking skills as well as expert sharings and motivational talks.
