Corona nearly Ended us, but We're Back! - A Letter from Breezi's CEO.
Dear Breezi Family,
Needless to say, 2020 has been a strange year for all of us. Many people lost their jobs. Many others lost their livelihoods. And sadly, many people lost their lives which is continuing everyday around the world. As of this writing, nearly 900,000 people have lost their lives to COVID-19 but you already know that.
What I'm writing this to tell you is how corona nearly brought Breezi Speaking to a fatal halt. At the end of the day, we are a group of educators and trainers wanting to help people speak better and present themselves with more confidence. That's the very goal of Breezi Speaking. We don't charge a fortune for our programmes because we want to offer people the opportunity to learn new skills and we want to offer it to everyone; regardless of their financial backgrounds. We believe in Equal Opportunity for All and that's why we worked very hard to keep our fees low and to create good value for everyone.
One unfortunate side effect of our non-profit-minded approach was the lack of financial safety net to keep us going through the rough days and the rough days came with the pandemic. As the outbreak grew in Malaysia, we decided to cancel all of our workshops before any regulations required us to do so as a moral obligation to our attendees. We kept cancelling programme after programme, month after month and even when the regulations were relaxed, we did not take the chance to put our family at risk. Regardless of its financial burden, the well-being of our team and our attendees always takes precedence over everything else for us.
I'm personally thankful to my team of trainers who held on through the financial loses and did not pressure me to reopen before it was safe again. I'm personally thankful to our customers, the Breezi family, for accepting my apologies month after month for cancelling programmes and not requesting refunds.
Your patience and support for a small educational group like us kept Breezi alive.
After several months of careful monitoring, we have finally decided to bring our popular Level 1 workshops back effective September 2020. Today, for the first time since the major outbreak in Malaysia, our doors will reopen and we will run a Level 1 workshop at a lower capacity than usual with safety measures in place. We will of course continuously monitor the situation closely and ensure that we are always on the safe side. It warms my heart to say; Breezi Speaking is Back!
Many emails and messages have gone unanswered and I will be working together with the team to go through each and every single one of them in the coming weeks. All the delayed certificates will be sent out by the end of September and we will start the planning phase for all of our workshops in 2021.
As of this month, we will begin to once again offer:
Communication Mastery Series Level 1 - First Saturday of every month 4 hour workshop which you can attend from as low as RM49.90
Personal Mentoring in 4/8/12/16 week packages.
Level 2 workshops will not be hold for the time being until we work through the current registrations and make sure the capacity required can safely be provided.
